Former NFL Star Antonio Brown Enters Innocent Plea in Attempted Murder Case
Ex- National Football League player Antonio Brown is returning to Miami to address an attempted murder charge related to a gunfire that took place in May, with his lawyer submitting a innocent plea on his behalf.
Correctional documents in Essex, New Jersey, show that Brown was released on Tuesday morning for his move to Florida. Brown, a highly popular athletes in the National Football League, had forgone extradition to Florida from New Jersey, in which he was detained after being arrested in the city of Dubai.
Brownâs lawyer, Mark Eiglarsh, mentioned in an communication that he has previously submitted a documented innocent plea to the murder attempt charge. Brown could be in a Miami hearing as early as Wednesday morning for a release proceeding, Eiglarsh stated.
According to his detention warrant, Brown is alleged of seizing a firearm from a protection guard after a public figure match contest in May and firing multiple bullets at a man he had confronted with before. The claimed individual, Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, told investigators that one of the bullets grazed his neck.
Eiglarsh asserted that Brown was merely defending himself from Nantambu.
